Integrated, Whole-System, Balanced & Soul-Centric
Intertwining facets of depth Psychology, attachment research, social neuroscience and trauma-informed practices, I see myself as an advocate for personal and inter-personal evolution in relationship to ourselves, others and the universe. Exploring the mind-body-spirit and soul, I have the fortunate job of a loyal guide; one who will walk sometimes beside and sometimes behind you, through all of your experiences - however painful and dark they may be - offering skills, tools and support along the way.
Given my integrative approach, I draw from many methods of psychotherapeutic practice. I have studied and regularly employ tools found in methods such as: Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing (SE), Daniel Siegel's Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Harville Hendrix's Imago therapy for relationships, Julie and John Gottman's research-based couples work, Jon Eisman's Re-Creation of the Self (R-CS), Pat Ogden's Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Richard Schwartz's Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ron Kurtz's Hakomi method. I customize sessions based on what is needed and where someone is when they come in for support - in my experience, this makes for a much more effective, comprehensive, and dynamic approach to healing work.
I approach psychological work as a holistic journey to be navigated as a team. Together, you and I will name and feel into what is happening, design the best ways to navigate the territory, and discover the natural buoyancy of your deepest, most clear, calm, knowing and wise, whole Self along the way. I absolutely believe that it is through uncovering who we really, really are, beyond the woundings of ancestry and childhood, and cultivating the audacity to radically accept what we discover, that the expression of our unique aliveness can surface.
My focuses in Psychological practice include: gender creative youth and their families, partnership, family dynamics, developmental, acute, and inter-generational trauma, the neurobiology of trauma and re-integration, post-traumatic stress, allyship with communities who face discrimination and prejudice, adolescence and rights of passage into adulthood, creating sacred personal ritual and yogic practice for emotional intelligence, balance, awareness, wellness and healing.
I welcome and affirm all forms of diversity. I fervently celebrate what makes you uniquely who you are.
